Announcement

We are buying a mini van. Yes, it's true. This purchase is coming SEVERAL months before planned and is VERY unexpected. I have had to go to bed early every night and have been quite sick about this purchase. In fact, I think I need to go take a nap just thinking about it. Levi, on the other hand, is thrilled about getting a "fancy car" (his words) and Kara is oblivious. More details tomorrow.

Yes, I am wondering the same!

there's only one reason to get a minivan if you only have 2 kids, another one on the way...

I'm guessing the same!!! How exciting

Yay! I can't wait to get mine. Even IF you just have 2 kids, they are so wonderful and practical. And just think, you will be SO prepared if you wind up having a third..... ;)

I'm thinking it would have been easier to just take a picture of Kara in a shirt that says "Big Sister"

C'mon, now...fess up!

I cried at the dealership when we bought ours... Yes, it's practical and has neat features, but as far as cool - don't let 'em fool you - It's NOT. But, as you already know, kids make 'being cool' lesser of a priority. Enjoy it!

Congratulations. Brooke and I were driving around Auburn in ours last weekend. We felt very old, but very cool.

We only have one kid and drive our minivan around. I said I would never drive one, but here I am. Bigger than an SUV and gets better gas mileage. I'm with the others in thinking there's more to this announcement though...

Yeah, you HAVE to have a mini-van with three kids. Those three row SUV's just aren't practical. We love ours because it doesn't look to mini-vanish. AND the doors open by themselves!! How snazzy!! But if there are any more Baby Fields on the way, the public needs to know!!

Your "announcement" wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be, but it is news worthy. Good luck with the purchase, and take advantage of that extra sleep.
