That title is probably a country song, but it describes perfectly what our summer has looked like so far!

Can't you guys afford a kiddy pool? :) just kidding. I'm glad ya'll are having so much fun. I want to try the the slip and slide down the regular slide sometime. looks like fun!
Ha ha...we've been through so many and plus, Garet says it "kills the grass". When we were done, we let the hatch down and drove around the yard to "water" it. That's what the cool kids do... :)
Oh my! Now I have seen it all in the way of cooling off in the summer sun! You just blew my Redneck post right out of the water, or in this case, mobile swimming unit.
What makes it cooler than cool is the pride you have in your good idea! And the joy on those kiddos faces. :)

I LOVE the mobile swimming unit!!! Your 'redneck' ideas would fit in great around here! We might try that one with the pickup truck!!
Oh my, you finally update your blog, and this is what you show my grandchildren doing :). You cannot make fun of me listening to country music ever again. We made it to Chapel Hill tonight, so it was fun to get a Levi and Kara fix. We love you all. Mom/Grandma

I was kidding about trying out the pickup pool idea, but Alex saw the post and LOVES the idea -- we will be soon embarrassing the neighbors with our new pool event. :) No hydraulics for us though.
I think this is a great idea. Garet is right, those kiddy pools kill grass. We're going to try this as soon as I can buy a tarp!
